GGSSC, Jammu & Kashmir Zone Celebrates Parkash Purab

On the eve of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Harkrishan Ji Mahraj, the 8th Sikh Guru, the Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (GGSSC), Jammu organised a function at SOS Home Narwal.

The GGSSC celebrated the day as Sewa Divas and it is the second time when this day was celebrated with the Children of SOS Home, Narwal, a handout issued here today said.

It said the motto of the Study Circle is to spread the message of universal brotherhood, peace and prosperity of the society. The Study Circle is working to spread the message drug addiction free society and service to mankind, the release added.

Speaking on the occasion, Baba Tejwant Singh, patron GGSSc, J&K said it is the moral duty of every person to devote time for the betterment of society. He emphasized to spread the message of Guru Harkrishan Ji and appealed the society to come forward for eradicating the social evils and work for the betterment of coming generation.

He also performed Ardas for the better growth and bright future of the SOS children and appreciated the role of Management committee of SOS which is working with great zeal and dedication for this noble cause.
