at Baba Isher Singh College for Women, Kothe Pone, Jagraon. Speaking on the occasion, Master? Satnam Singh Sallopuri? , Director, Youth Services said that religion doesn? t means merely carrying out rituals but one should practice an honest living by keeping God in heart and mind at all times, live honestly and work hard, treat everyone equally, be generous to the less fortunate and by serving the poor and deprived. Sikhism doesn? t ask people to turn away from ordinary life to get closer to God.

In fact it demands that they use ordinary life as a way to get closer to God. Prof. Kanwaljeet Kaur has been appointed as the professor in charge of the local GGSSC Unit at this time.
