Face to Face with Gurnam Singh Komal

Sahitkar Sadan, a literary wing of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, organised an evening with poet and philanthropist Gurnam Singh Komal who narrated his life experiences right from childhood to date. Ustaad Piara Singh Azad, Dardi, Tir, Balagann, Safri and other were recalled by Komal as role model poets.

Dr. Charan Kamal Singh, Chief Secretary released Komal's new book "Gurbani to'n Qurbani Tak". Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Minhas presented a critical paper on the book. H.S. Bhanwra, K.S. Kalra, Patron and S.Joginder Singh, Chairman, Wishva Punjabi Kavi Sabha, C.S. Doshi, F.C. Tuli form Jalandhar, Prof. Balwinderpal Singh, P.S. Toofan, Biba Kulwant, Harkirat Kaur and others spoke on the occasion.

Present in the function were Prin. Hari Singh (Retd.), Hardip Singh, S.P.S. Sidhi, Jaspal Singh Pinki, Iqbal Singh, Hardip Kaur, Young poet Amanpreet Singh, Gurpinder Singh and others.
