Gurmat Camp at Saharanpur (U.P)

From 23-6-2006 to 25-6-2006, a Gurmat Training Camp was organised by Amritsar Zone of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle at Saharanpur (U.P). In which education was given regarding Nitnem, Rehat Maryada, ill-effect of drugs, importance of hair, Panj Kakar, Sikh culture & famous sikh dame. S. Satnam Singh Salhopuri through his very informative lecture shared the views with kids.

On 24th evening at 8, S.Hira Singh presented a slide show on LCD projector on the topic of Ardaas. In which light was thrown on the importance of Ardaas in Sikh History, teachings of Sikh gurus, except this current problems like female forticide were also discussed.

On last day, students were made busy by playing games & quiz contest & were made satisfied by answering to their aroused questions. Certificates & gifts were distributed among the winners.

Camp co-ordinator , Dharmvir Singh of Jandiala Guru & along with stated convener Bibi Amarjit Kaur, Harpal Singh, Manpreet Singh, Satinderpal Singh, Balwinder Singh, handled the Camp with a decorum.

S.Hira Singh & S. Dharamvir reported to the Sub Office of Ajit & told that with the selfless service of these volunteers a unit of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle is been established here. Very soon official workings will start here & also teaching for Turban tying will be imparted. For the propagation & promulgation of the Gurmat, efforts are on move in near by areas.
