Ru-B-Ru with Legendary Writer Pritam Kaur

Directorate of Language, Literature and Cultural Affairs, GGSSC organized a? Sahitkar Sadan? on 7th July, 2006 to honour the prominent Punjabi Writer Sardarni Pritam Kaur. Addressing the gathering Sardarni Pritam Kaur said that she got the inspiration from her uncle Late S. Kapur Singh? Ghuman? . S. Prem Singh? Bajaj? , Vice President Punjab Sahit Academy said that the literature written by Sardarni Pritam Kaur is very precious. Dr. Charan Kamal Singh also praised the writings of this legendary writer. Prof. Balwinder Pal Singh admired her efforts for supporting the people in atrocities like 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots and Tsunami. Bibi Amarjit Kaur urged young writers to write on the social evils like Female Foeticide, Dowry and other tribulations faced by women in her day to day life.

At this moment, Prof. Harpreet Singh, S. Iqbal Singh, S. Sushil Kaur, Bibi Hardeep Kaur, Bibi Harkirat Kaur, Bibi Chandeep Kaur, S. Satnam Singh Sallopuri, S. Jaspal Singh, Bibi Harmeet Kaur, S. Harpreet Singh, S. Jasjit Singh and other senior members of GGSSC were present.
