Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle celebrated "International Women Day" at Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana in collaboration with Dist. AIDS Prevention & Control Unit, Ludhiana. Civil Surgeon Dr.Maninderjit Singh participated as Chief Guest. Principal Ram Singh, Chief Organizer, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle and S. Partap Singh, Vice Chairman, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Trust were the Guest of Honour on this Occasion.

On this occasion Dr. Geetika Kansal programe Officer, Distt. AIDS Prevention & Control unit, Ludhiana addressed the Audience. She delivered important information on AIDS. In her lecture, she described how AIDS spread in women & How is it controlled. Dr. Pushpinder Singh, Incharge Head Office, GGSSC told about the Rights of Women & Empowerment of Women by presenting Slide show. He said that if women use their Rights & perform their duties in proper way there will be huge possibility to create Crimeless Society.

Dr. Charanjit Kaur Mahal, Principal, Guru Nanak College for Girls thanked GGSSC, Dist. AIDS prevention & Control Unit, Ludhiana to organize the function. Principal Ram Singh, Chief Organizer GGSSC said in his concluding address that women should recognize their ability & use it in the interest of Society. S.Partap Singh, Vice Chairman, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Trust gave token of thanks to Principal Dr.Charanjit Kaur Mahal, Dr.Maninderjit Singh, Dist.
