A Seminar on the theme of "Guru Granth Sahib Ji-Apostle of Peace" has been organised by GGSSC, UK at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Slough, England dedicated to the 4th Anniversary of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Speaking on this occasion Prin. Ram Singh Singh, Chief Organiser, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, expressed that Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji gives the universal message of peace, friendship, brotherhood & humanity .This holy book conveys the message of spiritual improvement and the spread of truth and virtue to entire mankind.

We should abide by the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and beware of the ill designs of unholy and untruth individuals. Speaking on Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji he said that " Guru Arjun Dev ji's multifarious activities, apart from making a very major contribution to the organization of the mission, demonstrate, as laid down by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, that no field of life, whether temporal, social or political is excluded for the operation of a mystic. He said that the greatest contribution of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji was to get utterances of all predecessor gurus collected in one anthology.

Dr. Deepinder Singh, Director, Social & Health Services, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle presented a slide show on the life of Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji, explaining his contributions to the humanity. Expressing his views,Dr Deepinder said that Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji spent his entire life serving the deprived and the down-trodden. S.Gurlal Singh, S.Bahadur Singh, S.Sachdev Singh and S.Prithi Singh and other senior dignitaries were also present at this time.
